Since Berlin’s inception of the Hunter-Education program (1962) a running total of 3,579 area students have successfully completed Hunter-Ed /Outdoor Safety Training and have been certified.

In 1989 the Androscoggin Valley Fish & Game Association with the guidance of the NH Fish & Game Department gladly took on the responsibility of Hunter Education locally and formed its own all volunteer “Hunter-Education Team”.

From that point 1,380 students have been certified through the efforts and dedication of the AVF&G “Instructor Team”.

As Chief Instructor I would like to thank each and every member of our Hunter-Ed “Instructor Team” and support staffs for their tireless efforts and devotion to safety.

They…are the reason for the program’s continued success!
